The National Association of the Bulgarian Road Carriers was founded on 14.08.2001 by 9 private enterprises as a non-government body with the ideal purpose of maintaining a constant contact between the members and combining their efforts in the following directions:

• Protection of the business and common interest of the transport companies in their negotiation with the state administration.
• Improving the quality of the transport services offered.

Main principal and aims of the association are:

1. Adhere to the high requirements imposed by the clients.
2. Cooperative style of mutual effort by the associated members with emphasis over the sole responsibility of the subjects in question.
3. Centralised Management System of the regional representative offices as to the state politics and autonomy, in relation to arisen regional problems.
4. Encouraging joint business ventures and work contacts between the associated members.
5. The core aim of the association is the transformation of the existing members into market leaders through protecting the business and common rights of the transport operators and their clients.
6. Providing a constant technological, economical and human support for the development of the road transport sector.

The National Association of the Bulgarian Road Carriers is a non-goverment organisation, which is widely open to accepting new memers, that are ready to match the common criteria and requirements for membership and accept the statute of the association.

The members are dedicated to providing a high quality service relying on the support provided by the association.

At present members of the association are companies, aknowledged as leaders on the Bulgarian market for international transport. The combining of those companies into one single association provides the possibility of offering to clients a base of over 1,500 vehicles matching standarts EURO 2 and EURO 3 for international transport with large flexibiltiy in terms of cargo types:

• Refrigerated vehicles with aggregate units able to maintain temperatures in the region between – 30 and +30 C
• Garment – box trailers with the neccessary equipment to transport garments on hangers.
• Vehicle transport trailers, providng the possibility to transport between 6 – 10 cars.
• Tank trailers
• Tent trailers – 87 – 96m3 – 33 – 38 euro pallets.
• High cube vehicles with trailers - 120m3 / 100-110 hanger bars

in the region of the EU (including Switzerland and Norway)

Also from and to all countries members of the EU to South – East Europe, Former Soviet Republics, Middle East.

The transport companies, members of the association have CEMT permits, documents that guarantee that the transport services can be performed around the whole of Europe and Asia in the shortest of time possible.

Partners of the association are international financial institutions, automobile manufactures, oil companies, European forwarding companies, all leaders on the Bulgarian and international markets. .

The National Association of the Bulgarian Road Carriers has founded a trading company by the name of NSBP Service, which is to carry out all business activities and ventures of the association.

The association is managed and represented by the management board, which is appointed by the general members meeting.
